Hybrid-Electric Vehicle Safety and Response (HEV SR)
Overview
The Hybrid-Electric Vehicle Safety and Response (HEV SR) programme is a specialized training initiative developed by MARii to certify HEV safety experts. This programme is particularly tailored for emergency and safety teams such as the Fire Department (BOMBA), Civil Defense Force (JPAM), and other relevant agencies to prepare them for the unique challenges posed by high-voltage hybrid and electric vehicles (HEVs).
With the increasing adoption of EVs, this programme ensures that safety teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage HEV-related emergencies effectively, aligning with Malaysia’s safety management goals until 2030.
