Vendor Development Programme (VDP)
Overview
The Vendor Development Programme (VDP) by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) is a strategic initiative to develop and enhance the capabilities of local automotive vendors, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to become globally competitive and technologically advanced suppliers.
VDP focuses on improving productivity, product quality, digital readiness, and compliance with international standards — ensuring Malaysian vendors are well-positioned to participate in OEM supply chains, especially in the Next Generation Vehicle (NxGV), EV, and Industry 4.0 landscapes.
