Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) and Next Generation Vehicle (NxGV) Voluntary Labelling
Overview
'EEV Labels:
- Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) Label allows buyers to compare the fuel economy and electric energy consumption of one vehicle against another.
- The EEV certified vehicles are environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient with low or no emissions, including Internal combustion Engine vehicles (ICE), hybrid vehicles (HEV), plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV), and battery electric vehicles (BEV).
- The EEV label comprises of information like model name, fuel consumption, electric energy consumption, electric range and a QR code that can be scanned to obtain vehicle information.
EEV Label applies to vehicles with low emissions and high fuel efficiency, including ICE, HEV, PHEV, and BEV models.
NxGV Label identifies EEV-certified vehicles integrated with autonomous capabilities, starting from Level 1 automation.
