Overview
The Industry Intelligent Information System (IIIS) is a comprehensive, integrated platform that serves as the central repository for Malaysia’s automotive industry, incorporating Supplier Competitiveness Level (SCL) and Auto-SMART assessments. By consolidating critical industrial data into a unified system, IIIS enables informed, data-driven decision-making across the automotive ecosystem. Through robust competitiveness evaluations, the platform provides valuable insights into the capabilities and capacities of local suppliers, while facilitating targeted and strategic government interventions to strengthen and future-proof Malaysia’s automotive supply chain ecosystem.
Objectives
IIIS is designed to:
- Support the digital transformation initiatives of Malaysia’s industrial ecosystem in line with Industry 4.0 objectives
- Comprehensive databased for Malaysia automotives parts and components manufacturer
- Enables vendors to identify competitiveness of their company based on Supplier Competitiveness Level Assessment
